Our Exceptional Staff

Office Manager: Debbie has worked in our practice for over seven years. She is a Certified Medical Assistant and has extensive experience in both the medical and dental office settings. Debbie will diligently handle each of your dental needs, including scheduling appointments, explaining treatment proposals and fees, insurance questions and filing, as well as remembering details about you and your family. Debbie and Jim, her husband of 26 years, are long-time residents of Hurst. They are the proud parents of Katy, an RN who recently graduated from UTA, and their youngest daughter, Jamie, who is attending Texas State to pursue her degree in education. When away from the office, Debbie and Jim enjoy relaxing and fishing at their cabin on the weekends and are blessed to be part of a large, close family.

Hygiene Coordinator: Working with the office for one year, Heather is the friendly voice when you call and the first face you see when you come to our office. In 2005, Heather received a certification from Tarrant County College and is a Registered Dental Assistant. Beyond her duties as Hygiene Coordinator, Heather also helps organize our newsletters and website development. She resides in Hurst with her husband, Brandon and their Shih-tzu, Berkley. Together Heather and Brandon enjoy improving and updating their first home , being involved in their church, and entertaining friends and family.

Registered Dental Hygienist: With over 23 years of dental experience, Janet has worked with Dr. Studer for eight years in our Bedford office. Graduating from Tarrant County College in 1990, Janet strives to constantly research the newest dental innovations, allowing her to best implement new protocols within the hygiene department.  Her “Science Rocks” attitude allows her to teach our patients how to best care for their mouths and makes each visit fun, memorable, and educational. Janet’s love of Dental Hygiene is apparent in everything that she does and her friendly, knowledgeable personality is a wonderful asset to our patients and practice. Outside of the dental setting, Janet enjoys many outdoor activities, including: learning how to zip-line, recreational swim team, surfing, hiking, camping and dogsledding. Janet resides in Hurst with her wonderful husband, Paul and their family includes Paul’s daughter: Heather (20), Janet’s son: Wiley (16), and their daughter: Evie (8), as well as two dogs and two cats.

Registered Dental Hygienist: Kristin, a 2008 graduate of Tarrant County College, has worked in our practice for one year as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She recently became a full-time member of our staff and spends time in both our Bedford and Argyle offices. Her friendly personality, kind smile, and dedication to educating her patients are just a few of the many great qualities that Kristin shares with everyone that she meets. Originally from Truckee, CA, she now resides in Fort Worth. Her family includes her husband, Darian, a Grapevine police officer, and their five-year old son, Samuel, as well as two dogs: a Bull Mastiff named Maggie and Max, the Boxer.  Apart from spending quality time with her family, Kristin enjoys traveling and snowboarding.

Registered Dental Assistant: Clista is the newest addition to our office staff. She joins our team from San Diego where she received her dental assisting education from San Diego Mesa College. Clista graduated in 2007 and has been working as a dental assistant for over two and a half years. Clista is actively learning new treatment modalities to assist our Doctor in finding the most current dental materials and information. She brings passion for dentistry, a bright smile, and warm demeanor to our office. Clista is originally from Texas but has lived literally coast to coast over the past 10 years. She has been married to her husband, Pearce for over four years and together they have purchased their first home and have two mini-dachshunds. Her two puppies Khloe and Kenzie are like her children and she spoils them rotten! Her passions are spending time with Pearce, exploring DFW, baking, and most recently house decorating. She is also studying to be a hygienist!
